If there is one thing that Nigerians love it is drama. Unnecessary ones. The ones that shouldn’t be made a big deal but somehow it is blown out of proportion. The ones where you can see that it could be avoided. These are five Nigerian reality tv shows that brings the drama
1. Big Brother Naija

The Big Brother Naija series is undoubtedly the biggest reality tv show in Nigeria. It is based on locking up a number of housemates for a period of time in the hopes to win a certain amount of money. These housemates will basically live there without any connection with the outside world. This show is a 24 hours streaming show that lets the viewers at the end of the week chose who they want to be evicted and who should stay. The housemates have to complete a lot of tasks, and give it their best so that they would not be evicted. It is available for streaming on African Magic and Showmax.
2. Real Housewives of Lagos

This show follows the lives of affluent, rich and famous women in the city of Lagos Nigeria. The housewives,Carolina Hutchings, Mariam Timmer, Laura Ikeji, Chioma Ikokwu, Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Lawani-Adebayo are filmed going on with their glamorous lives. Of course we have really dramatic confrontations and misunderstandings and that is what we are living for. This show is available for streaming on Showmax
3. Real Housewives of Abuja

This one is like the Real Housewives of Lagos, but different women and different city. This is filmed in Abuja obviously and has housewives as Arafa, Comfort Booth, OJ Posharella, Princess Jecoco, Samantha Homossany and Tutupie. This show gives what it should that is unnecessary and avoidable drama and we love it for this. It is available for streaming on Showmax
