Tinubu’s Government Pledges Improved Electricity Provision By The Beginning Of 2024.

President Bola Tinubu’s administration, as indicated by statements from Ambassador Maitama Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has committed to providing improved electricity supply to Nigerians by the first quarter of 2024.

Ambassador Tuggar provided assurance to the country that there would be a substantial enhancement in the electricity sector in the upcoming year.

In an exclusive interview with ChannelsTV, Ambassador Tuggar reassured the nation about a substantial improvement in the electricity sector in the upcoming year. He affirmed that by the first half of 2024, there will be a notable enhancement in Nigeria’s electricity supply.

Addressing concerns regarding gas export to Germany, Ambassador Tuggar emphasized that it wouldn’t compromise Nigeria’s domestic gas requirements. He underscored the interconnected nature of these initiatives, stating, that exporting gas to Germany doesn’t mean neglecting Nigeria’s domestic gas needs, both will be addressed.

The revenue from such exports will further invest in extending electricity and gas infrastructure across Nigeria. It’s all interconnected, and one doesn’t impede the other.
