Nigerian actors Timini Egbuson and Omowunmi Dada are the lead actors in the movie Meeting Funmi’s Parents, written and directed by Kevin Apaa.
The story centres on Funmi( Omowunmi Dada), who returns home with her fiancé from the U.S.( Ramon Thomson) to visit her parents in Nigeria. A union Funmi’s father kicks against.
Meanwhile, Timini Egbuson Funmi’s ex-boyfriend wants to weave his way back into Funmi’s life.
Produced and co-produced by Michael Ademola Oke and Suleiman Bolaji. Other cast members to expect include Lewis, Tina Mba, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, Sophie Alakija, Emmanuel Ikubese, Alvin Abayomi, Rotimi Adelegan, Broda Shaggi, Sophia Chisom and appearances from Femi Durojaiye, Saka Hafiz Oyetoro, Tiago Gom.
Meeting Funmi’s Parents will be available on January 26, 2024, in different cinemas across the country. The movie will be distributed by FilmOne Entertainment.
