A social media post purportedly showed that Kizz Daniel had been giving Tekno a cut of the money from the successful song “Buga.” Kizz Daniel and Miles Kelechi, better known as Tekno, are well-known musicians from Nigeria.
An X post purporting to be from an account (name withheld) in which Tekno discussed Kizz Daniel in an interview set off the issue.
Tekno was allegedly paid millions of Naira each month by Kizz Daniel as royalty, according to the spurious interview. Additionally, according to the report, Tekno receives 50% of Kizz Daniel’s song earnings.
After the interview went viral, Tekno criticized every assertion contained in the story in a remark posted on his X account. According to a tweet from the Pana crooner, the interview was a hoax.
Tekno’s sly remark about Kizz Daniel was another thing that made people talk. There’s no way Kizz Daniel can afford to pay him N1 billion, he claimed. Subsequently, he angrily cursed the individual who had published the fabricated interview.
After several days, Kizz Daniel finally replied on X (Twitter) to Tekno’s tweet. The musician accused his colleague of leaking embarrassing information and made fun of him for reacting when money was brought up.
Kizz Daniel claimed that he had even attempted to convince Tekno to sing on “Buga” in an attempt to help him resurrect his career. Then he used more “colorful” language to refer to him.
Kizz Daniel responded on his page to Tekno’s criticism of him in a tweet. He promised to reveal Kizz Daniel’s secrets if the latter failed to caution himself.
