Jadesola Osiberu is a Nigerian movie writer and director . She has worked on a number of Nollywood movies like isoken, Ndani TV’s Rumour has it and Gidi Up. Jadesola Osiberu can be seen as a breath of fresh air in the Nollywood industry as her movies are never cliche and are always on point. Gang of Lagos
This is a story about three friends growing up in isale eko in Lagos Nigeria. This is a story of friendship, betrayal. It is also filled with a little romance and a lot of action. It is a movie that was delivered beautifully with non of the usual cliche scenes. The cast was also beautiful with actors like Tobi Bakre, Adesua Etomi- Wellington, Chioma Akpotha, Iyabo Ojo, Bimbo Ademoye and alot of other astonishing cast.We also got to see musicians like Zlatan, Chike and Pasuma show their acting talents. It premiered on the 7th of April 2023 on Amazon prime. It is the first Amazon original movie in Africa
The Trade
The story follows a notorious kidnapper that has rained terror in the country for almost two decades. He was a very successful criminal that lived a double life as Eric the kidnapper, and Dike Maduka, a loving father and a caring husband. Finally his evil deeds caught up with him and his carefully hidden identity. The cast was also filled with notable actors like Blossom Chukwujekwu, Rita Dominic, Chiwetalu Agu, Stan Nze, Shawn Faqua. It premiered on the 13th of January 2023. The Trade is streaming on Prime video
Brotherhood
This is a story about twin brothers that lived opposite lives. Wale and Akin Adetula, were orphaned at a very young age by roadside criminals and had to live with their aunty. Even though they grew up together their lives turned out to be as different as day and night. Wale went on to be a detective in the SWAT team, while his twin brother, Akin became a criminal and eventually joined a notorious armed robbery gang, “Ojuju boys”. The movie was filled with talents like Tobi Bakre, Toni Tones, Falz, Zubby Michael, comedian Basket Mouth, Mr Macaroni and BBnaija alumni, Dorathy Bachor. The movie premiered on the 23rd September 2022
Sugar rush
This is a story about three sisters Bola, Sola and Susie Sugar who finds $800,000 in the house of a dead corrupt man. They take the money and proceeded to spend it. Then some bad people came to claim some of the money. After that the EFCC came into the equation. Sugar rush is more of a comedy movie than it is a crime action movie.The movie premiered on the 25th December 2019
