Nigerian actress and film maker Funke Akindele has announced the launch of her film production house, The Funke Akindele Network (FAAN).
She made this known to her fans through a post on Instagram. She revealed that FAAN is the back bone behind the production of her movie Battle On Buka Street, and her upcoming project A Tribe Called Judah .
FAAN is a 360 media house that will oversee and direct film making and production together with providing PR solutions for films.
Funke Akindele started her acting career in the late 1990s and has since featured in various Nollywood films and television series, earning recognition for her exceptional acting skills.
Funke gained widespread fame for her role as Jenifa in the popular Nigerian TV series “Jenifa’s Diary.” Her career in the Nigerian entertainment industry has been marked by numerous accolades and contributions.
Funke Akindele has won several awards, including the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
In addition to her acting prowess, Funke is also a successful producer and has been involved in the production of several hit Nigerian movies. She is the founder of Scene One Productions and has played a pivotal role in the development of the Nigerian film industry.
