Ijogbon is a coming of age movie that follows four teenage friends from a village Oyo-Oke in South-West Nigeria who come across a pouch of diamonds. Things get messy as the owners of the diamond begin a search for who stole their diamonds. Faced with danger, the friends must come together to rescue their friend from the hands of a ruthless gang.
The production pictures of the movie were earlier released in January 2023, while the official poster was revealed in August 2023.
Written by Tunde Babalola and produced by Kunle Afolayan at Kunle Afolayan Production Film Village and Resort, the movie features Ruby Akubueze, Kayode Ojuolape, Fawaz of Ikorodu boiz and Oluwaseyi Ebiesuwa as the four friends, Gabriel Afolayan, Sam Dede, Adunni Ade, Manuel Bimbo, Gregory Ojefua, Dorothy Bachor and others.
The movie will premiere on Netflix on October 13, 2023.
