The Supreme Court Has Commenced The Hearing Of The Appeal Filed By Atiku and Obi.

The supreme court is set to hear the appeals filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in regards to the February 25th presidential election. Atiku is challenging the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) which affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory.

The apex court will also commence the hearing of the petitions filed by the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi also challenging the verdict of the PEPC.

The panel of justice hearing the appeals is headed by Justice Inyang Okorowo.

Dignitaries that will be present in court to witness the proceedings include the National Security Adviser, (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu, the Chief of Staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila and the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
