Peyronie’s disease happens when a fibrous scar tissue in the penis causes it to bend. It affects the shape, length or girth of penis and causes painful erections in some cases.
Although, a little curve of the penis, doesn’t mean you have Peyronie’s disease, a visible and painful scar may suggest so.
The actual cause of Peyronie’s disease is unknown, some researchers argued that it happens after the erect penis has been injured or abnormally bent but most patients conceal information on what happened before the condition started.
